Certified as a teacher by the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT), the largest organization of Alexander Technique teachers in the United States. AmSAT teacher training standards are the most demanding of any program in the United States.

Trained at the Manhattan Center for the Alexander Technique. Pedagogical lineage is Alexander/Macdonald/Bayer/Higdon.

Served on Government Relations Committee of AmSAT. Appointed to Board of Directors of AmSAT in 2006.
